ABC Wednesday: U for university

http://abcwednesdayround3.blogspot.com/

I spent almost all my adult life associated with universities. First as a student, then as a grad student's wife and finally a faculty wife. There was a time when I was living on the campus with people from all over the world. If you look at my photos and my visitors' book, you will see gatherings of a mini united nations.

When I was at the University of Windsor, my lecturer told me. "This is what a university is all about."

Having gone to a small tech school out of high school and then graduate courses at home, I envy the opportunities you had to be ' right on campus.' It was never an option for me. Have a wonderful, memorable day of your university days.

As a former college teacher, I know the advantages of living at or near a university. You've picked a great choice for ABC Wednesday and your pictures are wonderful.

strange style for a building. But I like it. :)

almost forgot your question. :)

Yes, the trains are running, but not as relieable as it should. Lots of delays and trouble with the snow.

Perfect for ABC Wednesday, Ann.... I love going to university towns or cities... There are always so many cultures around --which makes life so interesting. Thanks for such beautiful photos, Ann.
Hugs,
Betsy

Beautiful campus and interesting clock tower!

If your teach here missed last Saturday's events, she can still participate - they are repeating the festivities for the next two Saturdays. And thanks for your comment on our Great grandson - he is not yet talking, but I expect he will learn "Poppaw" from the other grandkids (including his Mom).
