My late mum's four siblings and nieces came all the way from Borneo to visit their other brother David who lives in Auckland.
Uncle D rented a 12 seater to take them around Auckland, and to Rotorua and Taupo. Last evening, he treated them and lucky me to a sumptious Chinese banquet at Szechuan Restaurant in Remuera. Their signature dish was crayfish (NZ Lobster) noodles.
We are having a great time. There is a tinge of sadness. My Mum, the eldest had passed away twenty one years ago.
