Food in a minute

My Church Mt Albert Baptist Church invited New Zealand's favourite food program "Food in a minute "lady, Lana to share with us her knowledge of food budgeting and cooking skills.  This TV shows comes on every week day evening for quick, free recipes and easy dinner ideas.  Lana is the new presentor of the show, and we had a fun evening.  Ka pai Lana. Lana explained that she met our Pastor Jonathan at a friend's birthday party.  Ka Pai Jonathan for making this connection.

There were yummy food sponsored by Sal Rose Country Italian Family Restaurant and bar, and Tadka restaurant. There were plenty of nibbles, dips and cheese.

Ka Kai to Kate Stachurski as the hostess with the mostest, and her helpers, Aiden who made the delicious drinks, Allen, the recipe books, the musicians, Carolyn the greeter. To those who are reading my site for the first time, Ka Pai means Good Job in Maori.

The best thing for me was answering the pomegranate question and winning a big bottle of dettol moisture handwash. I had to get the pomegranate question correctly as I have done so much research on the red fruit.
