Watery Wednesday: Penang

http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

From the snowy Southland of New Zealand, and the hail storms of Auckland, I dedicate this post to http://rainfield61.blogspot.com/ of sunny Penang. "The Pearl of the East aka "The Pearl of the Orient", "东方花园". I love visiting the Botanical Gardens and didn't mind the humidity and the heat.

I love botanical gardens, and that is an impressive little waterfall! Do you have pictures of the flowers?

Gorgeous pictures from Penang, Ann.... That is perfect for Watery Wednesday ---and for you, a nice change from the cold and snow in New Zealand...

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures.

I'm a fan of botanical gardens too - altho' unlike you I easily gets bothered by the combo of heat and humidity.

That's a good place and you look so young.

I might have seen you at the same time you visited the botanical garden, only that we were strangers to each other.

I love going to the botanical gardens too...next time you go...I'll be there with you?

My Watery photos are about the 'disaster area' in town during a day long rainstorm. Click Here if you'd care to join me today with your visit.

haha! i didn't know Cerok Tokun is in Penang. been there last year, haven't posted about the trip yet in my blog but i posted photos in my FB. you can add me @ chersc29@gmail.com if you have an account. otherwise i will post about the trip one of these days. it's a nice place, we went to the Butterfly Farm and Kek Lok Si Temple. didn't get a chance to explore the botanical gardens and Penang Hill though due to lack of time...

btw, my daughter just turned 8 yrs old. the big cat is not that close to us, i used my 300mm lens. :)

the spider was taken @ the zoo as well. haven't explored Pulau Ubin yet, hubby is not very keen on island hoping.

thanks Ann for being my frequent visitor, appreciate it so much. :)
