Weekend Reflections: Car recovery truck

http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

There are people who will come and take your "Old bombs" off your property for free. I thought it is rather cheeky of them. But apparently there is a need for this service. The operators then take your old car to the wreckers and get paid for it. Call it recycling. I remember the headache my parents had when they couldn't get spare parts for the old Fiat we had in Borneo. They had to wait for parts to come from Singapore.

I was at the traffic lights when I looked in my side mirror and saw one of these operators.

Nice shots. You've got reflections coming from many directions.

So long as they are not coming for the car you are currently driving!!

This happens in Australia too. They dont pay you anything but they do you the service of getting rid of something you can do without.

Good reflection and good story.

Always good to have a camera handy - you caught a nice reflection!
We had someone like this take an old van away for us when we were moving to our new home. It really wasn't worth anything and saved us a lot of time.

It is amazing what we can capture from a mirror's reflection.

Neat idea to use the car for reflections. I feel like speaking up and peeking at your life.

Some people leave their old wrecks permanently where they are not supposed too, so there is some need for this kind of service.

PS Thank you for the comment! All you need for this kind of reflection is totally quiet water.

We don't have any snow here...
On the coast, in the Wester'n part of Norway where I live, we don't get much snow.
A few days every winter maybe.
The climate is very mild here.

In other parts of Norway (North), they get lot's and lot's of it...

Well that would be convenient. Great idea for the shot.

Great shot! Happy chance that you looked out your mirror at just that moment. Clever idea for today's post. Kathy

I love seeing what people capture in their car mirrors. It's a little look at their environment. Nice reflection.

If you own a 4x4 truck, and you want to be able to tow stuff as well, then you'll need to invest in a trailer hitch. Trailer hitches are available in many different styles and sizes, and they are designed for use in various different situations.
