Skywatch Friday

http://skyley.blogspot.com/

My friend said she had a dream, she was going to fly, and the whole sky was covered with dark clouds. When she woke up, the Auckland sky was covered with clouds, layers of variegated shades of grey. You could not see the sky.

In the photo, you can barely see the Mt Roskill volcano. The clouds are just so low that they look as though they are touching the volcano.

I hope the clouds were not from the volcano... it was very dark!

Yeah, I don't think that volcano is going to erupt anytime soon.

Interesting photo, I also hope the volcano is quiet.

It looks like a cold, gray day. When I enlarged I did think I could make out the volcano.
Thanks for stopping by to view the "bird of prey" in my sky.

I can't see the volcano at all under all the grey clouds.

Oh wow, I did not know that there is a volcano, the cloud must be very thick.

Not sure what happened to my first comment. Blogger ate it up?

That's really a grey sky. Could barely see the volcano till I enlarged the picture.

P/s: the cat must be really bold to steal the fish from your friend's kitchen. Fortunately my dog has yet to steal any food from the table so far.

We're having another cold grey day too, looks like the rainy season is here to stay. Yesterday around Bukit Timah area was flooded!
Yes, Taufik is still singing, he's still so popular. I prefer him to the second idol, Hady Mirza.

I am imagining the mountain looming beyond those clouds. Your photo is like a poem.

The skies in Ohio look like that today. To answer your question about collages I usually use Picasa which is a free download from google.

Ann: A very moody sky today, we get these a lot in the winter.

We are also having dark and gloomy skies almost every day. The rainy and monsoon season seems to have started.
