Mellow yellow Monday: Digger at the beach

http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/

Spring has sprung yesterday, some families head to the beach and the park at Pt Chevalier. It is still too cold to swim, but this little boy is having a great time with his digger. He has all the sand he wants to excavate.

I was at Coyle's park and Pt Chevalier beach when I took this photo.

My school is five minutes away and I sometimes spend my lunch time there. We have our school's cross country run annually in this park.

What a cute picture!! And a lovely sturdy yellow digger truck. You are so lucky to work near this beach and be able to hang out here at lunch! I'm afraid if I took my lunch there, I would never show up back at work!! It just turned fall here.

Every kid needs to play with a yellow wheel loader! Wish I had had one. As a kid I loved to play in the sand and build cities... houses, roads, landscaped and all! It's a wonder I didn't become an urban planner, architect, or landscape architect.

I love this shot of the little digger. Thanks for visiting my blog and to answer your question, the birds in flight were geese. The pair in the water were ducks.

Hi Ann, As much as I love the mountains, I also enjoy the beach. You are lucky to live so near --and can enjoy the beach as much as you want to... It would be neat to go to the beach during lunchtime... Wow!!!!!

Enjoy your spring... We are just now beginning to enjoy Fall...

Hugs,
Betsy

i'd say my family's life is a beach. :)

sorry for the very late response, trying to spend as little time as i can online nowadays. yes, Singapore is mourning for the lost of its Mother. MM Lee's health is also deteriorating, we hope that God will give him & his family strength in this difficult times.

btw, i've never been to NTU premises but i think i've passed by the place many times already...

enjoy the rest of the week! ;)

I grew up in Orange County California but there were plenty of lemon trees too. Actually there were plenty of avocado, olive and just about all of the fruit trees.

Too bad they chopped most of them down to build houses and office buildings.
