weekend reflection: Western Springs

http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

Not the best photo for reflection, there is just a hint of the leaves of the tree.

This bridge can hardly be called lovers' bridge, as many people stand on it to feed the swans, ducks, geese and eels. On this particular day, it was a work day, and usually you have young mums with young kids or elderly people. The sun was rather hot as we hit 28 degrees. It was so hot that even the ducks were hiding.

I was in between my two places of work on Wednesday. I make use of the time and feed my ducks.

there may only be a hint of a reflection but it's pretty
and the shadow on the bridge is nice
feeding the ducks is a great way to pass the time :)

yeah,it's really very sunny and glaring noon - overexposed shot.i was asking you whether you're using a DSLR(digital single lens reflex) camera becoz some of your photos are very nice and sharp.i'm using just a P&S (point & shoot) camera & at times,of coz my handphone.

I wished I could stand on the bridge, feed the ducks and have 28° instead of only 2 and rain !
Unfortunately I couldn't find the cat page you were talking about, the link is wrong.

A "Lazy afternoon"-kind of picture :-)

Thank you for the comment - yes, my name is a fairly common one in Scandinavia.

I feel peaceful looking at this shot. And I love the way the bridge rails reflect onto the water - very cool!

I would probably hide from the heat at those temperatures as well. I thought you captured the reflection of the leaves in the water quite well.
