Mellow yellow Monday: Roller

http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/

This chap was driving his roller machine up and down to flatten the ground after the digger had dug up the asphalt of the school grounds. It was drizzling, and he was still working.

He was getting bored and waved at me when I stuck my camera through the fence. I gave him a thumbs up. My students asked what I was doing in the rain and why I took his photo. I didn't tell them I blog.

You asked if I use a heating pad on my sore knee... The answer is YES... I've had to use both heat and Ice.

Hugs,

Nice bright yellow for safety! Looks like he's wearing ear protection, good idea.

About the saguaro cactus fruit: the native Americans used to harvest them for eating. I tried one once and it tasted sweet. :)

This definitely qualifies as a yellow piece of equipment. Those of us who blog know exactly why you were taking the picture. Keep up the good work.

Haha! Only bloggers understand. There is almost nothing I won't take a photo of.

I like capturing people in all kinds of work like this. Nice job.

Nice colour to brighten up Monday :). Re yr comment - I think I probably have some ancestors in GuongZhou (not Hainan) but unfortunately we lost contact after many generations... so it's just a sightseeing holiday...

Not only he is doing his job in the rain, he is also selecting music to get inspired. I think I saw something in his hand, Ann :-)
