watery wednesday: Ducks

http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

At the boundary of Mt Albert Grammar School, there is a creek. There are ducks enjoying their swim even though the water is dirty.

I have just done a follow up on the creek.http://ann-mythoughtsandphotos.blogspot.com/2010/06/photohunt-bubbles.html It explains that the water is polluted.

The ducks are wild. In New Zealand, wild ducks are allowed to be hunted in may. But these ducks, the creek is in the city. the neighbours will protest if you came with a gun.

According to a friend, these ducks don't taste good, I have no idea why.

Who's t say the water's dirty, Ann? Maybe just a little silted. The ducks as you suggest don't mind.

Thanks.

Ducks are everywhere! I am seeing them on all sorts of blogs. And well of course I see them in our back yard too.

There is no dirty in their dictionary. They enjoyed very much over there.

And had a good day.

And have a good day to you.

Hi Ann,
it is fun to look down on the ducks~

It is a bit murky looking all right, but I think the ducks will be happy once there is water dirty or otherwise.

The ducks aren't choosy about where they swim evidently!
