one cup of beetroot juice may lower your blood pressure according to researchers in the UK. The study, funded by The British Heart Foundation, and published in the American Heart Association journal Hypertension


Beet root juice may improve blood pressure and blood flow 

throughout the body, including the brain, heart, muscles, and 


Beetroots naturally containing high levels of nitrate, and it 

performs its alchemy by increasing the levels of the gas nitric oxide in the circulation. The gas is said to relax and widen the blood vessels and thereby aid blood flow.
