Photohunt: Broken

http://tnchicks.wordpress.com

The earthquake on February 22 in Christchurch broke many Historic Buildings. I went to Christchurch in August and took this photos. My heart bled.

Is much of it still in rubble? Is there much restoration and rebuilding going on?

All these can be re-built except broken heart.

Hi Ann --

I see broken sections in your photos but also signs of rejuvenation. So photos of hope as well as sorrow, to my mind.

These photos are very appropriate for the theme, but they are also very side.

Seems as if storms and acts of nature broke alot of things this past year. Great photos for the theme!

oh, these are indeed sad to see! i hope they can be restored to almost original glory!

(wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog last week. i really appreciate it. yes, that snake in my dog's mouth was probably poisonous - we have water mocassins (and copperheads) here and it was probably a mocassin. thankfully, the dogs can usually recover from their bites pretty well - or i get them to the vet)
