On Wednesday, I posted how thick our fog was. it was still foggy on Thursday, but not as bad as Wednesday. You can see part of our Sky Tower.

When you look at our flag pole, you will see the bottom end of the flag is tied up. We have very strong wind, and gusty wind and squalls. The flag could be blown away if we didn't tie it down.

Seems like here, yesterday... first rain of August! I love it though, I like it better when it's foggy...

It's always nice to see your part of the world.

The flower in my post with the butterfly is called buddleia or butterfly bush. It comes in lavender, dark purple, yellow and white.

Enjoy your day Ann.

San Francisco can be pretty foggy much of the time...I never mind. It keeps our summer temperatures cool.

It looks so gloomy. I would rather to have a sunny day.

That looks like unpleasant winter weather. We get fog here sometimes in the morning, but it usually burns off soon after the sun comes up.

Good fog pictures! We live at the foot of Afton Mountain, and the fog gets so thick, you can't see through it. We have special fog lites on the interstate, but they only help so much. Once there was a accident pile up of over 60 cars!

Ann, in answer to your question to «Louis» about the fog - no plane cancelations at SFO. Compared to where «Louis» lives, San Francisco International Airport is relatively fog-free.

Blogger is being weird. «Louis» has been trying to post a comment on your Sunday Bridge post, but Blogger says the page doesn't exist! (It's doing the same thing to one of «Louis'» own posts that he knows very well he hasn't deleted!)
Blogger.....grrrrrrrrrrrrr...........
