weekend reflection: At the beach.

It is the shortest day,
It is pitch black.
The gale is bellowing.
The rain just pelted heavily

There is no one in sight.
No, no one would go to the beach.
At Winter solstice,
No wait, there is a solo person.

Why the solitude?
Oblivious to the hideous weather elements?
On and on, she walks.
Back and forth, she leaves her footprints.

Could she be like me?
Could she have empty arms?
Has someone died?
Could she be looking in the skies?

Hoping for a glimpse of her angel?
Alas, even the sky is setting.
Making that one last glance in the sky,
A zilch.

Photohunt: Daydreaming

Photo

Day dreaming that I know the Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark.

 Theme For Saturday Photo Hunting

My town in cinders.

My town in cinders.

My artist friend, Oliver Wong titled his piece of art. "

Stillness"

My Sibu town razed,

A hundred houses brought to ground.

My town in stillness,

People gasp,

How could this have happened?

My town in cinders.

Kia Kaha, Be strong,

to my people in Sibu.

You will rebuilt,

You will be strong

1928 Sibu saw a huge fire razing the few wooden shop

houses in existence then.
