skywatch Friday: Goodbye to winter

http://skyley.blogspot.com/href="http://skyley.blogspot.com/">

The weatherman didn't bring a good winter. It had been cold and wet and floods.

My student road patrol and the teacher in charge will be glad that it is the last Friday of winter. Hopefully it is bye bye to rain.

Yes this winter has been much wetter than usual, dismal. But here at least, it has not been any where near as freezing cold as usual.
Bring on summer!

Hiya,
I have to smile: my summer sky photo this week looks much like your winter photo. And your second picture down made me sure that it was taken in the UK. It looks like any street I know :-)

Nice picture of the dramatic sky. Your weather is opposite to what we have nowadays, blue skies but cold. Great photo, Ann.

Hehe... everyone in their different seasons. We're supposed to be in our wet one, but it hasn't been too bad. Probably not good for the farmers.
[I've been in St Peter's Square when the [former] Pope came out and at those times there are a gazillion people there. But no, people don't generally hang out waiting for him, as he doesn't appear unannounced.]
