The thick clouds looming in the sky blocked our view of the sun even though we watched in an amazing 360° all-sky digital dome planetarium theatre and using a 0.5m Zeiss telescope.

Kind of frustrating. But maybe another trip on a different day will afford you great views. That would be an experience.
