ABC Wednesday: S for sportsday day

http://abcwednesday-mrsnesbitt.blogspot.com/

S for sportsday long time ago in Borneo, when I was a young 19 year old teacher.

Addition:

It was more like what you guys call a relief teacher. They didn't have enoughed trained teachers so they recruited fresh out of high school students to be temporary teachers. They teach for a while before they go to teachers' college or is treated as a GAP year like me before I went to university. It was the best job I had, young and enthusiastic. Now, some of those students had found me in Facebook.

You were a teacher at the age of 19.

Did it happen after your HSC?

Love the photos, Ann.
I have a friend who taught for a year when she was 18 and decided she didn't like it.

A delightful post from the past. Its hard to believe you were able to be a teacher at 19. I'll bet you were the best.
