Ann I am sorry to hear that logging companies are endangering your beautiful trees. I hope these are spared as well. It is a very peaceful beautiful reflective picture!

In response to your question about the iris on our blogs, Betsy posted a picture of a different variety than I did.
They are saying now that using plastic bags is just as bad environmentally than using paper ones...I don't know anything anymore.

If you stand there pretending yourself to be one of the trees, nobody will ever chop down the trees again.
I would hope they would be spared, too. This is a lovely shot...so quiet and peaceful...and the trees with their reflections in the water are just beautiful.
