mellow yellow Monday: Mr. Bean
http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/
This little yellow British Leyland Mini 1000 car reminds me of Mr. Bean. My kids used to love watching the series which followed the exploits of Mr. Bean. The actor Rowan Atkinson describes Mr. Bean as "a child in a grown man's body", in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process.
I never liked this series and movies. But some people do, and it made millions and won a few awards. He even made a movie where he went to USA in "The Ultimate Disaster Movie."
Did you ever watch Mr. Bean?

I cannot stand Mr Bean unfortunately! Just cannot put myself thru it.
ps. thanks for visiting my post on Heian Shrine. Not sure if they are very different. Japanese, Chinese and Korean (next country after Japan) designs overlap quite a bit... Oh, at Heian Shrine, there were not statues/deities. I guess it's not the Shinto way...
I remember Mr. Bean athough I never watched any of his work. Those cars are super cute!
I love to watch Mr. Bean...
Great shot!
I did not watch Mr Bean too much as I found it too embarrassing. I do however like your photo of a yellow mini. I used to have a mini back in the late'60s but it was a beige colour. It was soooo cheap to run. A bit like a motorbike.
The only Mr Bean I've ever seen is on airplanes, that is more than enough. I've never been fond of slapstick type humour. Your mini is cute, though.
Every time I see sunlight passes through leaves and fall onto the floor in the jungle, I always think of Mr. Bean.
Mr. Bean used to arrive in this manner.
This is a terrific post for yellow!!!! Ann, thanks for visiting, and your comment about 'fuzzy' week sounds like it was fun.
Ah! «Louis» knows nothing of Mr. Bean - but he DOES know he likes the Mini - both the old and the new versions.
Speaking of cars, check out the Myth...
I have heard of Mr. Bean, but never seen him. Though I have seen the actor who plays him. But I love this cute, cheery little car!
I think this is the car of Mr Bean my nephew and nieces likes to watch Mr. Bean though sometimes he is mean but we told our nieces and nephew that it should not be followed his bad behavior. ^_^ Happy Monday and thanks for the visit!

The bright yellow mini is fun...Mr Bean? Not so much. He always reminded me of the Three Stooges (my childhood). My brother loved them - I always wondered what was so funny...these guys were hurting each other!
Sweet little car, nice shots! / Anna
Now, that IS a yellow car! How cute!
followed you here from MYM... hope you can follow me back...

couldn't stop laughing.
Nice shots of a nice shade of yellow. I have never watched Mr. Bean. Maybe I need to check it out.
I don't think I ever saw the Mr. Bean show, but I do like this pretty yellow car.
Hubby hates Mr. Bean lol.. But I like that car!
It's cute. Great photo. I have watched few of his works.
Cute car :) I love Mr Bean, he's funny and what I admire most is his talent and the ability to have those facial expressions:) But I never allow my nieces and nephews to watch it , though.. I don't think it's suitable for the young ones..
i think this make of car was the first car my dad drove... it fulfilled its function well. it was so grand to me then... how times have changed :)
