21 Aug PhotoHunt 227: Numerical

http://tnchick.com/

When's your birthday?
What's your address?
What's your social security number?
What's your phone number?

Can you imagine the world when numerals don't exist?

When I saw this car in front of me, I was excited. 899 was the number of Dad's first car when I was little. We loved that little Fiat car, and 899 sounded like prosperous forever and ever.

I play a game with my students as we study the History of New Zealand.

You're right - it really is very hard to imagine a world where numerals don't exist! :b

You've given us a couple of great examples of the use of numerals in every day life. Wonderful post.

The car on your link is very cute. I get sentimentally attaced to our cars, as well. We even give them names! Our currant car is Monty. The game looks fun and interesting.

It seems like there are more and more numbers to remember these days. Great take on the theme.

Ah it would be impossible for us to function without numbers... well I suppose we could but at a much less advanced level.

Great take on the theme
