photo hunt: Orange

http://tnchick.com/

Orange vests with reflector strips are now uniforms for many professions with a certain level of danger involved. I have this thing about men in uniform. The water engineer had a vest which he doesn't wear very often. When he went to Australia to the Outback he had a vest and a khaki cotton overall.

Addition:

Just as Tammie Lee/Spirithelper writes about not being mistaken by a hunter to be a deer, this tragedy has happened this very weekend.

Mr McIver said it was a "terrible accident" which tarnished the reputation of all hunters.

Rosemary Ives was killed while brushing her teeth at a campsite near Kaimanawa Rd, about 20km south of Turangi, around midnight on Friday.

Mr De Waal was told a hunter had mistaken her for a deer.

Oranges are good fruits which provide a lot of vitamin C, but the orange vests save lives.

great orange find.
lots of our folks wear things like this now! It is hunting season, in fact I will be wearing an orange vest so that I do not get mistaken for a deer!

There's nothing like a sexy, orange, safety vest. ;) Great take on the theme.

Love your reflection picture below!! The killed lady is too an awful accident! what did they do to the hunter? People should not be allowed to hunt after dark!! Did you just post this? I haven't seen either of these posts on my sidebar till right now, better late than never!

How tragic. Why was some one hunting at midnight? I'm not sure where you live but here in the United States we are not allowed to hunt after midnight.

Tis the season for hunting accidents here in Ohio.

Department of Conservation Taupo-Turangi area manager Dave Lumley said hunters were aware that it was illegal to hunt in the park after dark.

But he said spotlighting, where hunters use torches to identify their targets in the dark, was a problem in the area.

It was well known that hunting after dark was banned and was one of the conditions on a hunting permit.
