Thursday Challenge : Lights. We shall overcome one day

These environmentalists brace the rain, thunder, lightning at the Count Down in front of the Lynas Plants at Gebeng.

Lynas is an Australian company: See below.

An Australian company called Lynas Corporation is building the world's largest rare earth extraction plant at Gebeng near the city of Kuantan in Malaysia. This project is very controversial in Malaysia because of fears about possible negative health, environmental and economic impacts once the plant begins operation.

Photo kindly from my artist friend Oliver Wong.

Oliver Wong Thanks Ann Chin, for your kind thoughts, encouragement and support in our fight against Lynas. I really appreciate your efforts in enlightening the people in New Zealand (and the world - your book and articles have attracted many international concerned readers/environmentalists ) of what is happening here our country. Thank you once again!!!
