what to do during a polar blast
We are having a polar blast, in many parts of New Zealand, people woke up to see a white cover. Many kids and grown up came out to frolic in the snow. Parts of the country came to a stand still. Many enjoyed a day off.
Auckland was spared, though I was told in the West, there could be a dusting. I am too old to drive out to the snow. I had enough of the cold when I was in Canada.
So instead, I bundled myself warm. Let me tell you what I did today, on the last week of my holidays, I intended to edit a manuscript I last went into 5 years ago.
When I got up,I went t the internet to check my email and blog.
Somehow, the internet connection failed in the afternoon. I was a bit irritable. My legs felt cold, I was thinking, should I turn the heater on or wear another pair of pants. After I got tired of editing, I watched some TV, and back to editing.
Internet came back at 8 pm, I am a happy Larry.

we could use a little bit of polar here, it is really really hot all over the USA
Like Sandra said, we could use some of that polar blast up here... It's HOT here--although we are supposed to get rain today.. Not a drop in sight though YET.
Hugs,
Betsy
Playing in the snow sounds pretty good to me, as we go into our third week of unusually hot weather. But I hope things warm up for you soon.
Snow? What fun for the kids.
The snow looks very refreshing since we still had heat wave here in MI. Happy Monday!
MYM
We have polar 12 moths a year, one white winter and one green winter.
After all I prefer the green one.
I will come back to your blogs and read more about the three-dimensional Ann; the author, the Christian survivor and bereaved mother.
Your words are heavy and they make sense.
Good that you also can see the life loving children sliding in the snow.
That's so much fun! I haven't seen real snow yet. Hope someday.
Thank you for the visit.
Take care of your health :)
Wonderful shots of people having great fun in snow.
oh, wow.. I am really happy to not have snow here in July. But, I can see you enjoying this
I would not have a clue as to what to do. However, right now I would sure to like to give it a try. In Texas we are burning up.
I love the snow, but we won't likely see any for another 6 to 8 weeks. Nice, fun photos!
It's hard to believe that there are places in the world where snow is falling today--especially when many parts of the U.S. are prostrate with heat!
PRAISE FOR RED
What is there about the color red
That makes me want to stand on my head,
And give a loud shout or two of praise
For crimson tints that brighten my days?
