watery Wednesday: Antarctic centre, Christchurch

http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

About ten years ago, we toured the whole of New Zealand. Here was Sam in a man made igloo in the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch.

Ice is frozen water. It is a sterile area so we had to wear special shoes. That was the only pair that suited him. We lol and joked that he was like a penguin.

What a wonderful picture! I'm guessing not many people actually live in igloos anymore, so I bet this was a rare treat.
