Happy 4th of July and Sunday bridges

In 1993, we went with the girls to Washington DC, New York and LA. As an engineer, the water engineer was very interested in the tall buildings and the bird eye's view when we got up to the Empire State Building and the Twin Towers. I am sorry I can't tell you the names of the two bridges.

A lot of water has flowed under the bridge. The most significant one would be The Twin Towers are no more. Last night, on my Television, I watched a conspiracy theory, and I can't believe it.

To all my American friends, Happy 4th of July, I recall not so long ago. I was in Canada when you were celebrating the Bi-centenntial.

Ann, «Louis» apologizes that Linky closed early today for Sunday Bridges. He accidentally picked an earlier cut-off than normal. He's happy you posted and hopes you'll join again!

Great Ann! Now this works for me!

You have no idea how much I've missed out with your post here. I feel muted and helpless.

Thanks again for taking the time in fixing my problem. I hope the rest will follow.

You must have the sentimental bearing to be able to see the places you'd been too and for all the right reasons.

(Yes, I was that skinny girl in my 33 or 34?. The old lady I pasted on the bamboo is my dear mother.)
It was taken in Talisay Cebu famous for their clean beach).

Hi Ann, Washington DC is a beautiful place .. Glad you all got to visit. Hope you can come back sometime.

Be careful what you see on TV when it comes to conspiracy theories ... People make them up just to get publicity for themselves --and their 'causes'... I won't watch things like that!!!

My knee is getting better --slowly but surely. Thanks for asking.
Hugs,
Betsy

What a great trip that must have been. I've never been to New York or Washington DC, but I lived in LA for 35 years. Have a lovely week!

Hi Ann! Lovely sky view of the bridges! Are those photos shot on film? I like how retro they look :D

That must have been an exciting time! Thanks for visiting my bridge. Yes, you would have crossed the Bay Bridge to get to Oakland. Enjoy the day!

I have pictures I took from the top of one of the Twin Towers back in 1991 when I took my kids to New York City. It is sad to think about what happened to them.
