fig halves, The Chinese call figs 無花果 (wú huā guǒ )or mo fa gou in cantonese.
They like to use it to boil with pork bones. I do not like to eat it. It has a sweet taste but lots and lots of seeds.

Have never tasted fresh figs. Only the dried ones and they're nice.
