Skywatch Friday: Hot air balloons on the Gold Coast.
http://skyley.blogspot.com/
I woke up at five am and looked out of my bedroom at my brother Charles' house. The sun rise was beautiful and there were three hot air balloons. My sis-in-law Karen said she's been up there before at 6 am to capture the good view and probably the cool breeze.

It does look comforting to me too.
Beautiful and great color:-)
I have never tried to travel in a hot air balloon. It must be quite fun.
PS Thank you for the comments! Where we live we very seldom get as low as - 20 C (my mobile phone tells me that is -4 F), but I have lived further North were -40 C (-40 F) was common.
I love the early morning. Hot air balloons - we just need some warm air.
Great picture.
I love the light in this photo, but I would not be interested in the cool breezes! Today is 20 below, and that is plenty cool enough for me. I will focus on the palm trees, and the warmth you have!
Nice post. I've always wanted to ride in a balloon
Beautiful shots. I'd love to ride in a hot air balloon.
Nice capture Ann.
Enjoy the weekend.
I love balloons! Thanks for sharing.
Great capture of the balloons and the pretty sky.
i think its very romantic up in a balloon
Great shot Ann. Thanks for your visit. It's very hot in Sydney today. Heatwave conditions. We're expecting 39 degrees celsius. I have no interest in seeing visiting royalty and it seems, the same goes for most Australians these days.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
It looks like a postcard... it is brilliant!
My son travelled in one when he was six and it's the only time I've ever been glad to see one land. I'm captivated usually.
Hi Ann,
It does seem that balloons start early.
Lovely photo.
What a beautiful sight.
I would love to go up in a hot air balloon! Nice capture!
I love to watch hot air balloons in the sky, but I'm not so sure I'm brave enough to actually get in one myself. :)
