Friday Sky Watch: Weekend reflections:Papua New Guinea

Dotted along the Sepik River, 700 km from river mouth – 3oom wide or more, are little grass huts of the Papua New Guinea tribes.

This river reminds me of the Rejang River of Borneo, 563 km, and the river trips I used to that.

please click on the photo to see the huts.

The Water Engineer went to PNG for work assignment and took this photo.

I am still in Australia and am not able to post as usual. I am combining this for Friday Skywatch and Weekend reflections.

Hello Ann, quite an interesting photo of the huts along that broad river... very quiet, serene. I hope you are enjoying your stay in Australia.

A very scenic view! But I imagine that life is not so easy for the people living in those huts.

Happy weekend!
