This truck is colored red and yellow but is called a green truck. It comes and collects paper and cardboard for recycling. My kind of truck. Most people just recycle without wantting to be paid.

But now for incentives for my school, they pay the school some money. My school has gone a step further, we encourage parents to bring their paper from home. I have seen parents lugging their old newspaper and cardboard. What a fantastic idea.

Today is a somber day for New Zealand and one part of America. The TV announcer said," No parent should have to bury their sons." and this is exactly what three sets of parents have to do.

Yesterday, a very publicized death of a 16 year old who apparently drank himself to death shocked the country.

I go on my computer, and on a site that I follow, Wallace Middle School, in Warerbury, Luis Vega Jr., 14, of 29 Boxwood Court, died unexpectedly in the hospital.

Closer to home, or in this case, closer to school, an 18 year old ex student of my school died in a car crash. He had stolen a car and the police chased him.

I am posting a red rose which was part of the Anzac day wreath. It had rained, and there was water on the rose, which I like it to symbolize the tears of the mums. Yes, mums, because bereaved mums cry buckets, and since it is so close to Mother's day, they will need more than one bucket.

It was the Australian cousins' second day in Singapore. The Singaporeon cousins took them to where the children love best. The Singapore zoo.

Unfortunately young Thomas wasn't impressed with the white rhinos. He thinks they are stinky. He was feeling so hot. While the others, all six of them enjoyed an ice cream to cool down. Thomas lost his appetite even for the ice cream.

They quickly walked across the road from the African White Rhino to the Nyala antelope, the bad odour still lingered on. You can see Thomas holding his nose, while his cousin Angelina feels cool in a red skirt and her hair held back by the red hair band.

I was thinking about the Apprentice shows. The Auckland Stardome recruited the popular icecream Street's mascot Lion to invite children to the Stardome. I wonder if Donald Trump would agree that it was a good marketing tactic. May be he will ask," Why the lion?" May be he will say, the lion will frighten the kids.

On Sunday, my church, Mt Albert Baptist Church treated all the teachers and helpers of Sunday school and creche to a BBQ. Here's the children's pastor Wendy serving us juice, and her husband Jos cooking the barbie.

Like me, Wendy and Jos Kattenbeld and their children have come to live in New Zealand. They come from Holland.

In ruby red T shirt, is the gentleman whose name I forgot, and there many bottles of ruby red tomato sauce.

The Port of Auckland is large container and international trade port on the Waitemata Harbour. For security reasons, the port is fenced. Behind this red fence, is another wired with electricity.

There are many wharves in Auckland. The most famous is the Queens Wharf. The gates and the fence are red. On September 13, the Queens Wharf became the people's wharf. The Government and the Auckland Regional Council bought the wharf. We can now enjoy a wonderful new experience of the magnificent views of the city and harbour.

We went on a tour to the normally out of bounds port and had a great time.

Sam went for his brown belt black tip Karate upgrading on Saturday. After this, he will train for his black belt. I don't know if I like him to go through that, after seeing his friend Ang go for his upgrading.

Ruby red is the soft rubber mat that he trains three times a week at the Wesley Club under his Sinseh Johnny and Leonard.
