Today: wild and fierce weather

Today, my friend posted a photo of her outdoor dining table. It has been pelted by hail.
Today, Japan remembers Nagasaki atomic Bomb.
Today, 70 years ago, Japan eventually surrendered their audacious occupation.
Today, as I look at the hail, I think of the next book I am writing.
Today, I think of the dark days my people underwent under the Japanese Occupation.

Thanks Elaine Szeto for your photo.

Yes, I think I "learned" about the bomb so much more this year and have a tremendous guilt being from the country that dropped it. Much more so this year as new information has been revealed and as I understand war so much better.
