When I was growing up in Borneo, many people did not queue, they just pushed their way.
Here in Singapore, people queue for the bus.
At the university canteen, people queue for their food.
In fact, in Singapore, people queue, except sometimes when they are dashing to get into the train. that's not nice.
Everyone talked about the mud slide at Camp Adair. Some kids don't like getting messy. But S loved it.
One important thing they learn at Camp Adair, they all had to Queue. They queue for their food, they queued for the fun activities, they queued for the bathroom. "If we didn't queue, it won't be so fun."

Drawings delicious, delightfully descriptive, I like the creativity of children.
Mobs are no fun!!! Lines are a pain but they keep things civil...
Sweet "Q" post. I live in NYC - we never queue, although some will line up!
Queuing has become a part our life here, even when traveling overseas we tend to queue and would be surprise when there's no queue.
Queues in Disney is the longest I have ever been.

Have a beautiful day.
I love that word - queue! Since I'm spending 3 weeks in England this summer, I'm noticing lots of British expressions lately. Queue is one of my favourites along with the word bliss. Have a great week, Ann.

When I lived in England, everyone would queue for the bus, very politely. But when the bus came everyone forgot their manners and surged forward in a mob! Often the women were the worst.
Hello Ann.
Ahh...queues...no one likes them. Here in the US, people will queue for hours on special sale days like Black Friday...it's like a stampede when the department stores open and everyone rushes ahead trying to pick up the cheapest deals. Some people have even been trampled to death! Thanks for sharing.
