My daughter G turned 21 yeserday

My daughter G turned 21 yesterday. Fellow blogger Gigi made a strawberry cake with jelly crystals. While chatting with her, I mentioned that G never had a birthday cake. I mean a traditional cake. Sadly, G is allergic to dairy products and eggs. This was her 2nd birthday, I made her cake out of jelly.

I made it the shape of a turtle, it was her favourite toy then. We bought the turtle for her when we found out that she loved it at the National Women's Hospital Creche where she went when her late brother Andrew was in intensive care unit. I left it in Singapore when we came back to New Zealand. I bought a replacement for her recently. The turtle tugs my heart strings. I will explain in another post.

Happy 21st birthday to your daughter. You don't look old enough to have a daughter that age :)
