a very old graveyard in Johnsonville, Wellington. Graveyards are not a taboo for me, 25 years ago, I buried my baby. http://jennymatlock.blogspot.co.nz/
Cemeteries are really such beautiful places -- the older graveyards with a church nearby are always interesting to wander through. I'm so sorry for your loss... no matter how long ago, we still carry that child in our hearts.
Lots of hugs to you ~ loss of your baby was tragic I am sure ~ Cemetery photos are lovely ~ Your child is 'watching over you' and sending angels to guide you ~ xx
I'm sorry about your loss. I enjoy visiting graves in old cemeteries. Doing research I found the grave of my great grandmother. To my surprise my Great, great grandmother was buried next to her! Cemeteries have a lot to tell. I tried to put as many of my relatives as I could up on Find A Grave. Do you know about it?

Oh.
ReplyDeleteAnn.
I'm so sorry for your poignant loss. It never gets easier to the heart, does it?
I have an affinity for graveyards.
The graves of young children are always especially powerful.
My husband used to laugh at me for pulling weeds and cleaning up tiny little headstones but now he joins me in my endeavors.
Thanks for a touching link to the letter G.
