I am playing with words this week. I live in Point Chevelier.
Point Chevalier is a suburb and peninsula in the west of the city of Auckland in the north of New Zealand. It is located five kilometres to the west of the city centre on the southern shore of the Waitemata Harbour. It is a Point because it is located at the tip of a triangular peninsula, which extends north into the harbour for 1800 metres. So when you travel on my Road, Point Chevalier Road, you reach the sea, which makes it a good location, so we don't get a lot of traffic.

You live in a beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit! The trees in my header are willows. We have plenty of them! The tree in my sunset photos is a crabapple with lovely blossoms in April and May.
Have a great week Ann!
Looks like a nice place you live in there, Ann. :)
ReplyDeleteAnn, you do live in a great area. So nice to be close to a beach. Great post and I enjoyed the photos. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeletesounds like a great place to live. loved the steeple shot. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ann! Weeping willows are also around. They live also near water like the other willows.
ReplyDeleteMy son visited New Zealand a couple of years age with his girlfriend (now his wife) on their trip around the world a couple of years ago... They much prefered the people of NZ to the Ozzies..
ReplyDeleteI also have a good friend I met on the internet (and have since met in person) who lives in Sabah Borneo.. The world is becoming such a small place.
Take care.. big hugs from Drew.
It looks like a beautiful area, lovely shots.
