My favourite cuppa: Chinese green tea served in tiny bowl like cups. You can't fill the tea to the brim because it will be too hot to hold the handleless cups.
There's nothing like a cup of tea - however one chooses to have it. And I am very fond of tea cups but nowadays all we seem to use here are mugs - such a waste of lovely, decorative pottery and porcelain.
When George spent some time in China (before I met him), he still talks about drinking soup and tea out of bowls (or cups like you showed). That is different for us here.
We both love green tea. We try to drink at least one cup a day. Hugs, Betsy
I do have cups similar to the ones on your picture. I recently read that green tea was good preventing Alzheimer. Now my whole family are pouring down the good stuff. My mother likes some honey added.
pretty little tea cups, have never tried hot green tea, and if i do will most probably have a handle on the cup

I LOVE Chines tea. :)
ReplyDeleteI've had Chinese green tea from cups very similar to these. I really learned to like green tea when I was in China.
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty cups.
ReplyDeleteI assume that the moss made that trunk slippery, but I didn't try to walk on it as it had fallen across a creek.
