When I was a faculty wife in Singapore, I lived on the campus, and was the secretary of the gardening club. When I left, I left behind a legacy of greens and trees. Here is a fern garden I left behind.

  1. People leave all kinds of things behind … but gifts of nature are often the best. :)

  6. But I return you with all the ferns from my blogs.

This is your legacy, and my obligation.

  9. F for fern. I didn't think of that. I was thinking of Flowers and Fall but didn't join in the end.

The butterflies are probably around because of Cosmos, Zinnia and the various fruit trees that I grow. I have a few other flowering plants but at the moment Cosmos is about to take over the garden.

  14. the purple trumpet is deadly if ingested, so yes, the dogs would have to eat it or chew the leaves

  15. No, to answer your question, the ground doesn't shake when the jets fly over our heads. They seem close though and the engine noise is loud.

I have some ferns but not too much luck with them growing.
