Here I was rubbing shoulders with a tribal chief. This Kelabit chief from the Bario highlands of Borneo was not only big in his position as a chief. He was also a very big man physically.
When I asked to take a photo with him, he obliged, but he probably wonder why. My friends tease that I was flirting.
Please note his long ears.
«Louis» thanks you for your visit to his Memorial Day post. When is ANZAC Day?
ReplyDelete«Louis» thanks you for letting him know when ANZAC day is observed. The New Zealanders and the Australians contributed mightily to winning both of the horrific world wars of the 20th century. «Louis» reads a lot of military history, thus he is well aware of the blood the ANZAC troops shed in the cause of freedom.
ReplyDeleteOh you again! Once upon a time.
ReplyDeleteYou weren't flirting, were you? The chief is definitely a big man.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Ann! I'm glad he allowed you to take his photo.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to have your picture with a tribal chief; it seems like he was quite happy to let you do that.. I wish you had told us where you were when it was taken.
ReplyDeleteI'm only looking at you, you are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I suspect that you WERE flirting; nothing wrong with that.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot for T this week. That was gracious of him to let the photo be taken.
ReplyDeleteHi again, to answer your question, Did I watch the movie Move it, move it, you know as a matter of fact I did. I thought it was really cute. I think I posted it on one of my other blogs a few months ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to Ann's Moody Blues today.
He is indeed a huge man compare to the size of regular Asian man. He is nice to agree for picture taking ^_^

I think you have the most original post for ABC Wednesday. I love this sweet picture and I didnotice the ears. Its like the tradition of the Masai men in Kenya.
ReplyDeleteHave never met a chief before. An aside--you were cute then, you're beautiful now.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. He is a big man.
ReplyDeleteHE LOOKS VERY REGAL...IMPRESSIVE,
ReplyDeleteHe looks autocratic hehehe.
ReplyDeleteTime is Precious
I don't think you're flirting, just that sometimes when we go traveling, we tend to take photos of everything not found in our homeland...kekekekkeke
