  4. It is certainly an unusual looking cliff - I suppose provides climbing opportunities for the hardy! On a calm day it and its shadow is awesome!

  5. Nice reflection shot of Muriwai Cliff in the sand. A lot of Gannets on the cliff top must be breeding season.

  6. Look at all those gannets on the cliff! Must have been awesome to see that.

[To answer your questions: the karst pinnacles I posted are in Zhangjiajie, which is in the Chinese province of Hunan. I usually add the country and province - when it's a large country like Canada, the USA or China - in my keywords, but I'll be more careful to identify the location, as I did in my bridge reflection post today. :-) ]

  10. Hi Ann, Me again... I would love to have your email address so that I can answer your questions by email... IF you can, send it to me at betsyadams@mac.com. Thanks.

You asked if we hiked in winter... WELL--winter is my favorite time to hike as long as we are not hiking in ice and snow.... I love cold weather --and the waterfall are usually flowing good that time of year. Hiking in cold weather is invigorating to me.... (Am I crazy???? ha)

    Betsy
