Nice of you to ask about the wooden bowls I featured on Theme Day, Ann. These bowls were made by my father, maybe 15 years ago. He had bought himself a lathe. He had loved working with wood all his life and these were simply experiments. The one on its side is composed of hoops of Huon Pine that he scrounged whilst on one of his numerous trips around Tasmania.
