This dam provides water to Auckland.


Water, the elders say,
is like blood in your vein,
abuse it with drug,
your water cannot be used.

is the giver of life.

    I have been reading about the drought affecting New Zealand. I am shocked at how low the dams become. Hope the water keeps flowing.

    When we had ten years of drought I thought it may never really rain again - such times make you consider water far more closely.
