I love trains. Think I told you that my Dad worked for the railroad ---so as a little girl I got to ride the train ALOT.... Loved it --still do, but don't ride on the trains anymore...
Here it is hot. The wheat field was recently harvested and is covered with straw. I saw a deer in this field several weeks ago. They generally do not come close to our house.
The railway station in Tanjung Pagar is finally closed, now the KTM train from Malaysia stops only at Woodlands Station. Very near the checkpoint at the Causeway. I went on a short trip to Kluang, Johor just to experience the ride- which I didn't enjoy as they were jerky and noisy. I rather take the bus or flight up north.
But no picture of the train? I have been on a train two times, once there, and once back home.
ReplyDeleteI hope the rain didn't dampen your enthusiasm for the train ride. I've ridden a train several times and have always enjoyed the ride.

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

Looks like rain is coming !
ReplyDeleteBut not the train !
Trains are a good way to travel in the rain. Frederick County is around 233 thousand people, the city is about 60 thousand.

ReplyDeleteSounds fun! I haven't been on a train for years but would love to cross Canada on one.:)
