The sun stayed up in the sky at 9 pm when we had our Christmas in Rocket Park last Sunday. This is Down Under, when we celebrate our Christams with a sausage sizzle, and a teddy bear's picnic.
Do come down here if you feel that your winter is too cold.
Oh how I miss the evening light now! The sun now sets at 5:00!! That is a beautiful blue and pink sky!! You will have lovely light evenings to do your Christmas shopping. We have to go in the dark and windy cold.

you already celebrated Christmas, wow.
ReplyDeleteWhere I grew up it hardly ever snows except once in a while in the mountains. So often our day was sunny and warm too. But the sun still sets early. Lovely sky there.
Hi Ann, I certainly do miss our long Summer days... It gets dark here now about 4:30 or 5:00 pm...
ReplyDeleteBUT--When it comes to Christmas, I LOVE cold weather --with SNOW.... SO--guess I'll wait until January to come 'Down Under' and enjoy some summer.....
