Weekend Reflections: Puddles

http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

We have been raining so much that there are puddles everywhere. Yesterday, it poured the whole day. I parked at the university, and when I came back two hours later, half of my tires were submerged in water.

Severe gales and floods are forecast for North Island of New Zealand. The recent miserable blast of bleak weather is heralding the start of winter. Forecasters are urging Kiwis to brace themselves for a weather bomb. At Mt Taranaki, the mountain is completely covered with snow.

I'm glad to see that we are not the only ones that can get large puddles (but they make perfect reflections).

PS Thank you for the comment - I think the tallest building in Norway is a hotel with 37 floors. We have very few tall buildings. We have plenty of room on the ground :-)

Nice reflection, but I would be worried a little when such big puddles are form and don't dry up quickly. Bangkok has a chronic issue drainage, resulting in floods in many areas when it rains...

A little rain is good and makes nice reflections but too much can be a problem. I like this reflection but I hope you will stay dry.
